Past Member – Economic Advisory Council
Peter M. Brown is one of 16 members of the Finance Ministry’s Economic Advisory Council, established in 2008 to provide economic advice to the ministry in the wake of the global financial crisis and recession.
He also represents the province in British Columbia for the Canadian Securities Transition Office, which was established by the federal government in 2009 to lead and manage the transition from the current system of provincial and territorial regulators to a Canadian securities regulator.
